Madeline Island Ferry Line offers cards for discount travel. Cards are available for passenger only and combination passenger/vehicle travel. Please refer to the chart below for roundtrip pricing information.
**Effective March 28, 2026, ferry rates include a fuel surcharge because ferry fuel costs have risen above $4.25 per gallon.**

Discount Card Policies:
- Discount cards are only available for purchase in the ferry line office located on Madeline Island and may be used year round.
- Only cash or check (made payable to Town of La Pointe) are accepted when purchasing or recharging a discount card.
- Minimums apply when purchasing or recharging a discount card.
- There is a $5.00 charge for a new card or to replace a lost card.
- Discount cards are for individual, family member or car use only and may not be used by groups.
- Senior Cards are for any person 65 years of age or older.**
- Discount card monies may also be used for full rate cash ticket transactions.
- Only trailers (less than 17 ft. in length) are eligible for a discount.
