Madeline Island has an impressive collection of art venues. Interested in taking a class? The Madeline Island School of the Arts offers a vast selection.  Maybe a chamber music concert? Madeline Island Chamber Music offers both student and faculty concerts while in session. Shopping and restaurants add to the array of all the Island has to offer. Visitors to Madeline Island Wisconsin can pick up a few words of the Ojibwe language. Madeline Island is the  first off-reservation location in Wisconsin to have Ojibwe and English bilingual signs. The project was funded in part by the Town of La Pointe and a grant from the Apostle Islands Area Community Fund.
